Description
Heritage Apples from Springfield Farm. Foraged for cider making. Each year we rejoice in discovering more old apple trees dotted on our property’s landscape – in fact we have just begun opening up an abandoned orchard. These apples are what are termed “windfall” and often they were given to the horses or pigs for a treat.
These are remarkable apples – varieties unknown – flavours outstanding. With over 7500 apple varieties in the world, we are going to work on identifying our apples through DNA testing and keep you posted!
